A delegation from the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) has departed for Tirana to observe the parliamentary elections to be held in the Republic of Albania on May 11, 2025, the Media and Communications Department of the Secretariat of the CEC told APA.
It was noted that, based on an invitation from the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Albania to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rovzat Ghasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission and Ramin Nuraliev, Head of the Department of the Secretariat will participate in observing the parliamentary elections in Albania.
Within the framework of the visit, it is also planned for the representatives of the Central Election Commission to hold meetings with the leadership of the Central Election Commission of Albania and other official persons, as well as to engage in discussions on the deepening of cooperation between the supreme election bodies and the exchange of experiences in various areas related to elections.
The delegation including familiarizing themselves with the overall preparation processes for the parliamentary elections until the voting day will also observe the voting procedures at polling stations on election day.
