At the special session of the Milli Majlis dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty,” a documentary titled “Our First National Constitution and Our Sovereignty” was screened under the theme “National Leader Heydar Aliyev is the author of the independent Constitution of Azerbaijan," APA reports.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova stated that the documentary, prepared by the Milli Majlis Administration, is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the first Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the 5th anniversary of the Azerbaijani people's victory in the Patriotic War, and the restoration of the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
