A serious road accident occurred on the 122nd kilometer of the Alat-Astara highway, in the area of Lengan village in the Masalli district, said the Main State Road Police Department, APA’s southern bureau reports.
It was noted that, according to initial information, the driver of the Toyota Prado, with the state registration number 10-RV-404, 1982-born Teymurov Ikhtiyar Aliyar oglu, lost control and the vehicle overturned.
The driver sustained various degrees of bodily injuries. The passengers in the vehicle – the driver’s children, 2023-born Teymurov Ali and 2016-born Teymurova Banu, and his relative, 2002-born Alishov Aydin Tahmesib oglu, lost their lives at the scene.
An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
