"The Social Processes in the Context of Media" forum, organized by the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan, has kicked off in Baku, Olaylar informs.
The event is attended by Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Sabina Aliyeva, the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan, Sanan Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Supreme Court Collegium, as well as members of the boards of other state bodies, deputy ministers and heads of media entities.
The forum is organized to boost the educational function of the media and its proactive role in shaping public opinion, to transmit sensitive information to society in accordance with certain principles, and to improve coordination between the media, state bodies and other parties.
Following the opening speeches and the official part, the event will continue with panel sessions titled "Media agenda in the Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty", "Sustainable solutions in transport infrastructure at the media level", and "Security in the digital media environment: Informed users".
